Tony Probst
Tony grew up on a cattle farm in southern Wisconsin and had the chance to raise and work with several heritage breeds of livestock including highland cattle. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin with degrees in English. After graduation, Tony was accepted as an agricultural Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay, for two and a half years, where he worked on fish farm set-ups and improving cooking and water supply cleanliness in households. After the Peace Corps, he moved to Alaska where he lived and worked in Juneau, Sitka and a winter in the Arctic Circle. His time in Alaska was spent working on whale watches, glacier tours, northern light tours and cruises.
In his free time, he loves traveling, exploring and going on adventures. In the last few years, he has been able to backpack through parts of Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay in South America. In North America, he has been in various parts of Alaska, Canada and the Eastern Seaboard. In addition to traveling, Tony loves kayaking, paddleboarding, photography, reading, writing and cooking with his family.
He excited to meet you and be sharing this trip with you!
