Sea ice spread out in all directions around National Geographic Endurance. It was a beautiful day with flat seas and clear skies. The naturalists gave several presentations about the history of the region and expedition photography. Staff members were on the bow, searching for wildlife. Before the day was over, we added bearded seals and another polar bear to our list of wildlife. What a day!
