Our first day aboard National Geographic Sea Bird started with everyone being greeted by one of Baja California’s fiery sunrises. It was going to be a “whaley” full day of searching for grey whales. To increase our chances of getting a close view of these magnificent animals, we enjoyed two rounds of whale watching at Bahia Almejas. After a full day of viewing the friendly grey whales, everyone headed back to the ship excited for a hearty meal prepared by Head Chef Neil and his galley crew.
