We are located at the central islands, and today we visited Bartolome and Sombrero Chino. Early in the morning we opted for a walk to the top of the trail, reaching 315 feet after climbing 374 wooden steps to admire an impressive volcanic landscape view of the islands. Some of us opted for a Zodiac ride searching for the Galapagos penguin.
Later we started our water activities, like snorkeling, swimming, and a highlight for this outing, the glass bottom boat riders saw bottlenose dolphins. It was incredible!
Later we repositioned at Sombrero Chino for water activities. Today we saw many sharks, Galapagos penguins, and tons of colorful fish. Soon after, we went for a Zodiac ride along the shores with our kayakers as the Ecuadorian sun set, making for a wonderful ending to a wonderful day.
