The day started with the chance to get out and explore the eastern entrance of the Bellot Strait by Zodiac. We cruised around Fort Ross and had a chance to see red-throated loons and bearded seals. After the morning cruise, National Geographic Resolution began the transit of the strait. There was a brief stop to go ashore at Point Zenith, the northernmost point on the contiguous North American continent. After lunch, we cruised the strait to look for wildlife and found muskox and four polar bears. What a day!
