We spent a quiet night anchored inside Cispatá Bay onboard National Geographic Quest. We had an early start to our day to explore the mangrove ecosystem where we encountered vast ecological diversity. We joined a local conservation group who guided us through the mangroves where we found a good number of bird species. Several of us were excited to add new species to our wildlife lists!

Sanguaré was our destination for the afternoon. This private nature reserve is a fantastic bird watching rainforest. Besides finding several endemic chachalacas and multiple keel-billed toucans, we enjoyed another performance of local music and dance.
