Our day began with the chance to have a sunny walk at Punta Espinoza on Fernandina Island where we spotted many iguanas as well as a bunch of sea lions that were nearby.
In the afternoon, we saw a lot of geological features as we rode in the Zodiacs along the massive flank of Ecuador Volcano at Punta Vicente Roca.

Last night we all joined together to celebrate the arrival of 2025, and this morning during the first day of the year, we embarked on a Zodiac ride adventure to explore the landscape and to look for wildlife. Seas were agitated this morning, but we managed to see blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, fur sea lions, frigatebirds, and more! During the afternoon, some guests opted for a fast-paced walk along the coastline of Egas Port to look for wildlife, while other guests decided to take a relaxing afternoon to enjoy the black sandy beach at this site. The kids sure had lots of fun playing along the shoreline with the waves.
On our last day of 2024, we arrived at Urbina Bay in the western realm of Isabela Island. We walked along the trail of Urbina Bay and observed Galapagos land iguanas as well as Alcedo giant tortoises peacefully resting along the trail. Today, we wanted to celebrate the end of the year with a mega-swim from the shore to the ship as well as jumping off the back of National Geographic Endeavour II . This afternoon, we went snorkeling, kayaking, and went on an invigorating hike to the top of a large cinder cone. Along the path we saw Darwin finches as well as Galapagos mockingbirds and Darwin Lake. We celebrated the end of the year by taking part in some Ecuadorian traditions, such as the burning of an effigy that represents the ending year.
