Today we explored the island of Floreana, which showed us its very best side. We woke up early to make the most of it, and we headed to Post Office Bay before breakfast. Post Office Bay is a historical site with a mailbox where whalers used to leave their letters in hope that someone else would come along, find them, and hand-deliver them to their final destination. This tradition is still maintained today by our guests, who found some letters in the barrel with addresses close to their own homes.
We also did some aquatic activities today: kayaking, Zodiac rides, and of course, some snorkeling.
