We spent the morning cruising through Frederick Sound and were lucky enough to see dozens of humpback whales traveling through the sound. All morning long, we could see the blows and flukes of humpback whales in every direction from National Geographic Sea Lion. Some guests even caught a baby humpback whale breaching. After cruising, we jetted to shore in our Zodiacs to explore Cascade Creek. We took a lovely hike through the temperate rainforest to visit a beautiful, misty waterfall. The day was topped off by cocktails on a rare, sunny evening in Southeast Alaska.
