We entered Glacier Bay National Park early this morning after picking up our park ranger Patrick Otero and Tlingit cultural interpreters Gary Brown and Joe Valle at Bartlett Cove. The day started out with a little drizzle but it quickly improved and as the day progressed, it became beautifully sunny.

We encountered lots of wildlife today including: Steller sea lions, brown bears, mountain goats and a variety of seabirds.

We also spotted three wolves on the beach, two different pods of killer whales near the ship and five sea otters on ice near Margerie Glacier – all very special sightings!

In the evening we stretched our legs on a variety of walks in Bartlett Cove. Glacier Bay is a special place and it always leave a lasting impression.
