The spectacular scenery started early this morning as we transited through the Wrangell Narrows, past the town of Petersburg, and into Frederick Sound. We sailed south from there to our anchorage in Ideal Cove, where we spent the morning kayaking and hiking in the temperate rainforest.
After lunch we cruised to LeConte Bay. There we launched the Zodiacs and explored the stranded icebergs that recently calved from LeConte Glacier, further up the fjord. We ended our day with Trivia Night in the lounge, hosted by naturalist Kelly Morgan.
