Aboard Delfin II, we are exploring the vast green jungle. We are navigating along the Ucayaly River en route to the vast Pacaya Samiria Reserve.
This morning, we explored Magdalena River and the surrounding forest in search of wildlife. This river is home to the three-toed sloth and raptors like the black-collared hawk.
In the afternoon, we explored Dorado River in search of big monkeys. After a moment of silence and patience, Mother Nature rewarded us with the best sightings of monk saki monkeys. This region also has a black water river and a swamp which is home to many bird species, such as black hawks, flycatchers, horned screamers, and many others.
Our quest for wildlife sightings was a success!
