During the first part of the day, we observed blue-footed boobies in a courtship ritual at North Seymour. This island is one of their favorite sites to reproduce every year. Two species of frigatebirds nest here. Now is the time of year to observe great frigatebirds displaying. The males inflate their gular sacs to the size of a balloon, and females choose the most colorful mate, which indicates health and good genes.

The weather was perfect. It was a sunny morning, making for a great opportunity to see the land iguanas bask in the sun and lava lizards warming up on the rocks. Along the sandy coast, Galapagos sea lions posed for great photos. Some guests took a Zodiac tour to observe species along the coast.

After our arrival to Rabida Island, we enjoyed snorkeling in the calm, clear water. We spotted whitetip reef sharks and observed so many fish, some of them in big schools. Guests kayaked along the coast or walked on the red sand beach. The coastline was extra colorful thanks to the sunny afternoon.
