Today we visited Santa Cruz, the Island that holds the largest inhabited population. Our guests encountered civilization and it was a good opportunity to find out about the different conservation programs and the efforts to preserve this unique archipelago. We visited the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre and learned about the different scientific projects of the Charles Darwin Research Station. In the afternoon we visited the Giant tortoises in the wild and the gentle giants were everywhere. It was a unique and amazing day!
