Today we arrived at the island of Sifnos and kicked things off with an early morning sunrise hike. This weaved over the ridgeline and across a beautiful mediterranean hillside, complete with stunning views, local goats, and wild herbs. The next activity was a town tour of Kastro, with short stop at the Church of the Seven Martyrs. This was very picturesque and offered 270-degree views. Some guests opted for the Narlis Farm tour which included having lunch off ship.

Most returned to Sifnos after having lunch onboard and made their way off to a pottery class or to the nearby township of Kamares. Kamares is a coastal town with a very pleasant shallow beach, complemented by many small seaside cafes, bars, and shops.

It was another fantastic day on National Geographic Orion.
