National Geographic Quest started the day going through the John Day Lock. We continued down river to The Dalles where everyone disembarked to explore the area. The group headed to the Columbia River Discovery Center and enjoyed a raptor demonstration and time in the museum. After time inside, there was the option to go for a six-mile aerobic hike, a scenic bike ride, or a historical mural tour of The Dalles.
