Peru’s Upper Amazon is vast and rich and teaming with wildlife of all sorts.
High water season allows us to explore inside the forest on skiffs. Geared up with binoculars and cameras, we always aim our eyes to the trees, hoping to see a monkey, iguana, or any of the many birds that abound. Also known as the Jungle of Mirrors, reflections of the trees in the mirror-like waters are stunning.
Today was a phenomenal day of sightings, including a stunning sunset during our return to Delfin II.
