Today we are exploring one of the outer ends of the Pacaya Samiria reserve, in a tributary which is home to a great diversity of bird and mammal species. This morning we found toucans that were actively feeding on top of the trees.

Today we also reached the convergence zone of the rivers, where the Amazon River is born. We had a special event on the bridge as we celebrated cruising this important place.

In the afternoon, we visited a small community where we had the chance to witness the ways of life of the Amazon people. Here the residents showed us cooking and handicraft making; we tasted traditional foods and learned their natural methods of dying fabric for clothing.
