It was our first full day of our expedition on board the National Geographic Islander and we had a great early hike towards the summit of Bartolome Island. We enjoyed wonderful weather conditions. After breakfast the water activities began with snorkeling off the golden sandy beach, as well as snorkeling off the Zodiacs. Both were awesome and penguins, sharks and colorful fish were observed! After a delicious Ecuadorian lunch, the ship was repositioned towards Rabida Island, the red island. Here several options were offered, including kayaking, snorkeling and an easy stroll along the red sandy beach. A day full of activities came to an end, and tomorrow the adventure will continue!
