We started our day with a pre-breakfast activity: a skiff ride exploration to Belluda Cano. This is a great place to explore. We also saw an area where local fishermen have set traps in the water to catch some species of piranhas, catfish, and freshwater sardines.

Along Belluda Lake we saw a small troop of squirrel monkeys jumping between the tree branches and being followed by some greater anis. Cecropia trees were everywhere to be seen, and we even spotted a couple of three-toed sloths.

Outside of the lounge area our naturalist Jorge Guerra gave a presentation about exotic fruits from the Amazon region. We tried some of the local fruits, including some that are endemic to the Upper Amazon of Peru.
