Our day aboard Delfin II on the Peruvian Amazon was an immersive blend of adventure, learning, and relaxation. The day began with an early morning skiff exploration, where we ventured into the heart of the jungle, the calm waters of Clavero Creek reflecting the dense canopy above. It was a peaceful and awe-inspiring start to the day, with wildlife sightings adding to the magic. Afterward, we gathered our skiffs together and ate a delicious breakfast served in the middle of Clavero Creek, our “Jungle Café”, fueling up for further exploration, surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest.
Next, we participated in a storytelling photography session. Following this, we enjoyed a pisco sour master class with Isaac at the bar, where we learned the art of crafting this iconic cocktail with local ingredients.
In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to kayak through the tranquil waters, paddling through the jungle’s natural labyrinth. To add a touch of fun, the cabin crew also held an origami towel folding demonstration, turning simple towels into beautiful animals.
The day wrapped up with an afternoon skiff ride at Supay Canio, further deepening our connection to the enchanting Amazon Rainforest.
