Giulia Ciampini

Giulia Ciampini is a professional photographer, naturalist, and educator. She is an Ontario Certified Teacher with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science in Education from D'Youville College and a Master of Fine Arts in Documentary Photography, Film and New Media from Ryerson University.


She currently teaches photographic arts and biological sciences to high school and college aged students in the context of experiential education and adventure travel programs - this work has brought her to 15 countries including Canada, Panama, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Italy, Greece, Portugal, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Bali, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

An outdoorsy soul and a lover of wildlife and wild spaces, she enjoys hiking, portages, and camping. She has snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef, camped in the Andes just 10km from an active volcano, drove 19,000km Across Canada (8 times!), and has been pick-pocketed by a sneaky monkey in Bali.
