On the 11th of December, National Geographic Endurance was on its first day at sea heading back from our wonderful Antarctic adventures. The skies were a bit gray, but it was windy enough to see the birds soaring alongside the ship.
We had a few presentations during the day, each one of them held by some of our best expedition team. They love to share their knowledge and wisdom about the Antarctic, whether it is the pioneers and women of the Antarctic or the environment.
Like all other days on National Geographic Endurance, the food that was on the menu was superb. It was a beautiful dinner with amazing desserts.
