Saevor Erlendsdottir

Born and raised in Iceland, Sævör developed a deep connection to nature and the ocean from an early age. Growing up in a family that embraced the outdoors, she was inspired by her parents—learning to dive with her father and developing an interest in hiking and birdlife with her mother. This early exposure shaped her lifelong appreciation for the natural world and her commitment to protecting it.

In 2016, Sævör became a certified PADI instructor and has since gained extensive experience working alongside her father at his dive center. Over the years, she has contributed not only as a dive professional but also in the operational side of the business, assisting with management and logistics. She continues to support the center through visual storytelling, editing underwater photography and video to share the beauty of marine environments.

In 2025, she completed a double Bachelor’s degree in Fishery Sciences and Business Administration, combining scientific understanding with practical management skills. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biology, further deepening her knowledge of marine ecosystems.

Now based in Germany with her partner, Sævör continues to expand her horizons, including advancing her German language skills. Her work is guided by a strong interest in the ocean and a commitment to contributing to the protection and understanding of marine life around the world.
