We started our day in the Westfjords with beautiful weather, clear skies, and sunshine. A hike took us up to Dynjandi, which is probably the most famous waterfall in the Westfjords and quite symbolic of the area. After lunch on board the ship, we made our way to Isafjardardjup to visit the small island of Vigur.
After dinner, we made landfall on Vigur and were greeted by thousands of puffins, eiders, black guillemots, redshanks, oystercatchers, and more. Arctic terns gently reminded us to stay away from their nests.
As we finish our day with Icelandic hot dogs in the lounge, we make our way east to the next fjord of Siglufjordur.
