National Geographic Sea Lion anchors up early in the morning at the Inian Islands for a cranking flood tide. Zodiac tours had great views of humpback whales, rock fish who zagged when they should have zigged, and bald eagles and sea lions who took advantage of those zagging rock fish. While not Zodiacing we visited the Tide Line Institute for a tour of their facility and saw the Lindblad Expeditions Conservation Fund in action.

Our afternoon was spent on George Island hiking and kayaking. Our hikes explored the island and examined its connections to WWII. Six bells signaled the start of cocktail hour and recap, and the winding down of an excellent day.
