This morning, we woke to strong winds and heavy snowfall. Nevertheless, stretching was offered in the morning followed by another hearty breakfast. The weather dictated our relocation to Graham Passage for the afternoon, and while in transit, we came across a large pod of humpback whales feeding around the ship. The captain brought us to a standstill, and everyone enjoyed watching the whales bubble-net and lunge feed.

Guests enjoyed two great presentations from Naturalist Jesse and guest-speaker Dr. Solomon. Jesse discussed the fascinating ecosystems below the ice, while Dr. Solomon covered potential human evolution on mars.

In the afternoon, we deployed kayaks in Graham Passage and offered Zodiac cruises for those inclined. We were fortunate again, with many whales appearing in the bay, sometimes surfacing between kayaks or Zodiac cruisers. The icebergs and towering skyline only added to the experience. Another great day was had by all.
