Unplastifying the Planet with Agustina Besada

The theme of Earth Day 2024 is “Planet vs. Plastics,” bringing awareness to the ever-growing problem that plastics create for planetary health. Co-founder of Unplastify, National Geographic Explorer Agustina “Tati” Besada is working to be part of the solution. “Unfortunately, recycling isn’t enough to fix it, we need to tackle the issue at its source,” she explains. In this short video, Besada shares more about her ongoing mission and how she is inspiring teens to “unplastify” their lives and their local communities.
