Ellie Piper

Ellie Piper grew up on the shores of Puget Sound in Washington State, spending her childhood exploring rocky beaches and evergreen forests. A passion for skiing and the outdoors brought her to Montana State University where she studied Cell Biology and Ecology. After college she began a career of outdoor education, working for several companies across the globe teaching environmental studies, skiing, sailing, and backpacking.

Whether it be underwater, in the snowy Alpine, or in the desert, Ellie is happiest while looking for interesting wildlife and plants. When she isn't teaching on a Lindblad vessel, you can find Ellie trail running in the Wind River mountains near her home in Lander Wyoming with her small dog, Scuppers.
