Nena Belesi

Eleni (known as Nena) was born in South Africa into a big Greek family and she’s been bilingual from an early age. After graduating from the School of Tourist Guides in Athens, she went on to study art history. 

Nena has been working as a tour guide, speaking both English and Spanish, for almost all of the major travel companies in Greece since 1980. She has led a few trips overseas as well. 

After a long stay in the Greek island of Santorini, Nena acquired a love and interest for volcanoes (and wine!). She is also interested in archaeology, history, art, and traveling and enjoys attending seminars to learn more about them.
