Jessica Todd-Marrone
Jessica Todd-Marrone is an Expedition Leader, Captain and Paramedic with more than a decade of experience working at sea. She has led expeditions to remote islands and coastal regions worldwide, supporting conservation initiatives, scientific research and field-based educational programs.
Jessica has logged more than 100,000 nautical miles across all four oceans, including a double-handed transoceanic sailing crossing, and has operated private sailing yachts internationally. She works across both Bridge and expedition operations, bringing steady leadership to voyages in remote environments.
As a licensed medical professional and trained Rescue Diver, Jessica provides advanced medical support offshore and contributes to expedition safety and preparedness in challenging conditions.
Her work is informed by a background in public health and medical anthropology, with a focus on the intersections of culture, environment and health in coastal and island communities. In addition to her expedition roles, Jessica has experience in creative direction and production, supporting film and media projects.
Through onboard talks, workshops and informal interpretation, she shares insight into anthropology, maritime history and the cultural landscapes of the regions she explores.
