One of the most memorable sights on any Lindblad expedition is sometimes a challenge to catch, but if you can drag yourself out of bed early enough, the sunrises over every place we explore are spectacular in their own ways. For the late sleepers, the changing light of golden hour and sunset are equally gorgeous. Below, enjoy some of the skies our field staff captured in this week's photos.

We had calm sea conditions all morning but with a significant open ocean swell. Despite this, we got a call after lunch that the ship would try out “an idea.” The idea turned out to be an open water swim in the deepest known part of all the world’s oceans.
