Itinerary
Day 1 - San José, Costa Rica
Arrive in San José, Costa Rica and transfer to the Hotel Hacienda Belen.
Day 2 - San José
After a relaxing breakfast, begin your day with a tour of a local coffee cooperative, where you’ll sample some of Costa Rica’s finest brews and learn about the intricate process of coffee production. Continue towards the coast to explore the Tárcoles River, which is famed for its abundance of American crocodiles. Enjoy a local lunch before setting out to search for the mighty reptiles, along with scarlet macaws and other colorful birdlife, amongst the mangroves. Conclude your afternoon with a short drive to Puerto Caldera, where you’ll meet up with fellow guests to embark National Geographic Quest.
