Sailing the Caribbean Aboard Sea Cloud 

Day 1

Bridgetown, Barbados / Embark Ship

Arrive in Bridgetown, the capital city of Barbados, and embark the ship in the late afternoon. Settle into your cabin and go above deck for a glass of champagne as you set sail this evening.

Day 2

Under Sail

Begin the morning on deck, where sailors climb aloft to raise Sea Cloud's sails by hand. Enjoy a full day under sail across the Caribbean. Relax with a book, photograph the ship's exquisite details and attend talks by experts on the natural history and culture of the islands that await.

Day 3

Dominica

Spend the day exploring Dominica, known as “the nature island” for its spectacular beauty and many protected reserves. Hike through enchanting rainforest. Join your historian in exploring the ruins of Fort Shirley, an 18th-century British garrison, and learn about Dominica's turbulent colonial history. Go for a refreshing swim before casting off in time to enjoy a sunset at sea.

Day 4

Îles des Saintes, Guadeloupe / Under Sail

Distinctly French in character and culture, the shops, homes and people of Les Saintes are colorful, tasteful and delightful. Enjoy picture-postcard views from Fort Napoléon, with its cactus garden, iguanas and maritime museum. Then stroll through French colonial Terre-de-Haut and swim from a nearby sandy beach. Weather permitting, set sail on a beam reach this afternoon as the winds fill the square sails in a glorious spectacle.

Day 5

Under Sail / Bequia, the Grenadines

Sail aboard the magnificent ship in the morning and anchor at tiny Bequia by afternoon. Explore the charming waterfront and immerse yourself in this unique maritime culture. Swim along palm-fringed beaches or join the staff to visit a traditional model boat museum. In Port Elizabeth, browse the local market and stroll the waterfront Belmont Walkway.

Day 6

Under Sail / Grenada

Spend the morning under sail before arriving at the beautiful island of Grenada, dubbed “the spice island.” Set out on a guided walking tour of the capital, St. George, known for its colorful buildings, historic architecture and bustling harbor. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, meander through the narrow streets and alleys, uncovering stories of Grenada’s colonial past, vibrant culture and the resilience of its people. Visit the Grenada National Museum, housed in a 1704 French barracks and prison, and dive into Grenada’s rich history—from Amerindian artifacts and the days of colonial rule to the island’s complex history of slavery, spice production and independence.

Then, head to the House of Chocolate, a delightful boutique museum and café dedicated to Grenada’s renowned cocoa industry. Learn about the island’s deep-rooted connection to chocolate production, from bean to bar. After an afternoon of exploration, unwind at Grand Anse beach with its two miles of powdery white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Enjoy dinner aboard Sea Cloud this evening as she sails toward St. Lucia.

Day 7

Soufrière, St. Lucia / Under Sail

Arrive at St. Lucia and anchor under the island's iconic twin peaks, the Pitons, which rise dramatically above the sea. After exploring the fishing port of Soufrière, drive into St. Lucia's active volcanic crater and discover the otherworldly landscape of mud pools and sulfur springs. Take a tropical walk through botanical gardens alive with birds and the backdrop rush of Diamond Falls. Spend the afternoon sailing as you return to Barbados.

Day 8

Bridgetown, Barbados / Disembark Ship

Disembark in Bridgetown and transfer to the airport for flights home.
